I haven't been running in at least 5 months. I won't run consistently unless I have some type of motivation, usually a race. So I signed up for another half marathon in April. I've been procrastinating the start of my training. Today was my first day. I figured if I could make it to 3 miles I'd be very happy. Well, I felt really good and made it to 5 miles! I couldn't believe my body let me run that far. The last 0.5 miles were hard, so I may regret my decision to run the extra 2 miles tomorrow. Oh well. I feel great and can't believe that I actually missed running.

Thank you body, or I've made a huge mistake

We'll see what you're saying two days from now. You should've titled this piece, "Myoglobinuria."
You go girl. I started training for a 5k. My body lets me for one minute at a time.
Talk to you tomorrow.
I am WAY impressed. I don't have the interest to make it to the gym, and running outside has gotten harder and harder with the -11 degree temperature. Does yoga count as training?
Nice! You should come down and go a race with Katie and me!
